Granite Gear Wedge Canoe Thwart Bag - Large

This thwart bag's wedge shape hangs straight down off canoe thwarts and features a rigid plastic bottom to prevent sagging when fully loaded. Front and back are steeply angled to effectively shed moisture, and water-resistant fabric protects against light rain and splashing. Easily attaches and secures to thwarts with cam lever buckles. Front zippered pocket keeps small essentials handy. Equipped with snaphook straps for attachment to Granite Gear portage packs and to be used as a chest pack. D-Rings on the front are designed for attaching map pockets. Large flap protects the zipper openings from the elements. Updated design is now built with Cordura nylon--it's every bit as strong as former material but much lighter. Rigid plastic bottom is removable and doubles as a fillet board for the morning's catch.
