Arbor A-Frame is a freeride-specific carver designed to lock into and hold a deep, carved line and give tight edge control in the steeps. A-Frame's powerhouse tail creates the landing platform and edge-to-edge torque of a true, big-mountain gun. Sustainably harvested inlaid maple, walnut and palisander top honors snowboarding's surf roots. Blended tri-radial (progressive) sidecut provides tighter turns and easier initiation while maintaining stability at speed and during landings. Ecologically cultivated Shaman wood core delivers light weight, durability and ridgity. Thinned, tapered core profile between the bindings improves turn/spin initiation, general tracking and performance on rails, boxes and naturals. Triangulated carbon fiber A-frames increase torsional flex in the nose and tail but not in between the bindings, increasing on-edge performance. Durable and highly porous sintered base lowers friction between board and snow, keeping you moving fast in all types of conditions. ABS/urethane blend sidewall construction provides maximum durability and excellent edge control. Woven biaxial fiberglass in a quad-directional glass lay-up provides a complete web of protection improving edge control and stability. 2x4 14-PACKS insert provide a broad stance-range adjustment while preserving micro-adjustability. Topsheet features a protective Durafilm finish, an ultra-thin layer of high-gloss nylon that helps guard against damage caused by loose bindings. StrucTurn base finish builds structure into the board's running surface, significantly increasing turn-ability and acceleration. |
