Environmentally Neutral Designs (END) questions every material and process that goes into manufacturing, striving to minimize environmental impact. Durable ripstop nylon and nylon mesh uppers are highly breathable; synthetic leather overlays provide structure and support. Rubber toe caps provide protection for uppers and toes against bumps and abrasion. Polyester and natural bamboo fiber are blended to offer moisture-wicking and antimicrobial linings. Compression-molded EVA midsoles feature 10% recycled EVA content and supply cushioning comfort for extended wear. Structural thermoplastic urethane plates deliver support, stability and rock protection; plates are co-molded into midsoles, eliminating use of cement. Trail Radius durable carbon rubber outsoles contain 25% recycled rubber regrind and supply solid traction on all types of terrain. |
