K2 T1 Boa boots rule the terrain with high-tech liners, Harshmellow cushioning and tough, lightweight soles. Plus, they are team-designed, so you know they dominate! Intuition Pro-Foam 3D stitched liners feature dual-density Ultralon , a flexible thermo-moldable EVA foam designed to resist pressure-related pack out. Patent-pending K2 Access harness system allows you to control your liners' ankle support and heel hold on-the-fly from the outside of the boot while the shell is fully laced. Tension is adjusted using the Boa CBR reels which anchor the shells and liners together in perfect alignment; the knob securely locks down your boots while riding. Liners can be inserted and removed from the boots with a quick pop of the reel knob and a pull of the tongue; the Boa reel makes tangled laces a thing of the past. Internal/external J-bars hold heels securely; footbed support is engineered into the liner bottoms, and EVA insoles are added for supportive comfort. Liners also feature an Aegis antimicrobial coating that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. Formed 3-D shell tongues and micro-articulating cuffs comfortably conform to the ankle and shin and help maintain critical snugness and control. Vibram outsoles, designed for reduced rubber coverage and precise tread patterns, are super lightweight and durable, and provide superb traction where you need it most. Patent pending Harshmellow heel and forefoot cushioning minimizes rebound, making landings softer and more controlled than ever before. Traditional shell lacing system features cast aluminum speed hooks.
