Tired of skiing mens AT Skis, the K2 womens team developed the Miss Baker Randonnee Ski, a womens-specific backcountry ride for advanced female riders who earn their powder turns. A progressive sidecut and less reactive tip make the Miss Baker AT Ski super predictable on technical, steep descents. Two sheets of metal laminate and a separate elastomeric core at key points along the ski provide a smooth, damp ride when you point the run-out. The Bioflex core uses fir under your foot for a solid, stable ride and lighter, mellower flexing spruce near the ends to decrease swing weight and make the ski more agile. A notch in the tail of the ski allows for a solid connection with your skins, and tip and tail holes are handy when constructing emergency sleds.
