These high-performing crampons take on multi-pitch WI5 and long alpine routes with equal efficiency. The front-strap / rear-bail design allows the Sabretooth Clip Crampons to work on a wide variety of plastic, leather, and synthetic boots. Black Diamond made these crampons with horizontal front points to reduce sheering in hard snow, and aggressive secondary point increase stability on steep ice. Now they even come with ABS plates to reduce snowballing in wet-snow conditions.
