When fully loaded, the V-frame suspension, removable aluminum stays, removable hipbelt with thermoformed hip pods, removable hip belt gear loops, removable dual density framesheet, and removable/extendable lid pack a whole lot of carrying comfort. Strip it all down, and it converts to a summit pack with just the necessities to tag the top.
