It's a clean fitted design that eliminates the chilly gaps found between the jackets and pants on other kid's ski outerwear. The Kyd's Mini Journey Suit is a functional and practical design that's great for young skiers who don't need a lot of outerwear features but do need all the protection. That's why Spyder made the Kyd's Mini Journey Suit with a significantly denser layer of Thermaweb insulation than the suits made for adults. Along the inside you'll find inner snow cuffs with gripper elastic to help keep snow out of socks. The Kyd's Mini Journey Suit also has Spyder's special Small to Tall Growth Cuffs and Let-Down Hem Panels to help you extend the fit over multiple seasons--or at least to multiple skiing cousins. Spyder treated the durable full-dull nylon fabric with a special XT coating that penetrates the fabric and forms a honeycomb pore structure that lets vapor escape while keeping exterior water droplets outside the suit. A Spylon water repellent finish helps keep the droplets from consolidating and saturating the pores.
