This is the ultimate tool to keep your head, neck and face warm as you tackle any peak. The face mask attaches with Velcro. All this Velcro permits instant switching between complete coverage and total ventilation. For in-between conditions, the mask can be removed, the main Velcro can be left closed, and the balaclava's contoured chin can be rolled back under your chin. Handling exhalation is another of its fortes. The big gorilla nose provides unrestricted flow when breathing becomes strenuous, and the face mask incorporates an impermeable layer so it never freezes up.
